Ayiti
A bald mountain face next to Haiti's largest Internally Displaced People's camp.
Though Haiti is an island country in a sweltering heat due to deforestation, many a house you will find made of concrete. The houses don't breathe, adding a certain level of oppression to even the simplest settlement in the country.
And yet; there is always a diamond in the rough.
Sweet Ayiti,
I hope only the best for you!

A certain sort of destitution permeates Haiti and though you may search high and low for a bright gem, to not speak to this is not an act of positivism or compassion, but willful ignorance.

Sweet Ayiti,
I hope only the best for you!
